A look back at our evolution in 2023
We can hardly believe the end of 2023 is right around the corner, but ya know what they say—time flies when you’re havin’ fun! At Evolve Companies, our mission is to keep growing so that we can help you do the same. 2023 was BIG, and we can’t wait for what’s to come next year.
So kick up your feet and join us for the journey as we look back at our evolution in 2023 and get excited about where we’re headed in 2024.
Evolve at North Shore
Sneads Ferry, SC
Evolve at North Shore is nestled in the coastal town of Sneads Ferry, NC, just down the road from North Topsail Beach. Surrounded by top employers and schools, delicious restaurants, and great shopping, you’re sure to feel right at home.
The community’s one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes are luxurious with a fresh, modern design. Each kitchen at Evolve at North Shore boasts granite countertops, undermount sinks, and stainless steel appliances. You’ll also find stunning backsplashes and open layouts, making it a dream to gather with friends and family.
When the weather gets warmer, you won’t want to miss out on enjoying the resort-style saltwater swimming pool with its picnic and grilling pavilion. Evolve at North Shore also offers a 24-hour fitness center with a yoga and cycling room, a business center, and a Starbucks coffee bar in the clubhouse. You’ll even find a golf simulator and electric car charging stations.

How We’re Evolved in 2022
It’s hard to believe 2022 is on its way out and we’re headed into a fresh new year! At Evolve Companies, we’re firm believers in constant growth and evolution so that we can help you evolve the way you live. With 40+ communities in various stages of development, construction, and lease-up as we close on quarter four this year, we’re excited to announce we have even more magic up our sleeves coming in 2023.
Another cherry on top of 2022 was our recognition by the National Multifamily Housing Council as a Top 25 Largest Builder in the US.

Hawthorne Palmetto
Simpsonville, SC
Hawthorne Palmetto’s one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes are stunning, bright, and modern. Nestled in Simpsonville, SC, the community is in an ideal location within walking distance of great shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
This luxury community is home to a custom saltwater swimming pool with a sun shelf, inset seating, and a poolside cabana with a flat-screen TV and fireplace. Residents can enjoy an expansive 24-hour fitness center with a meditation studio, a soft-surface playground, a leash-free bark park, and an indoor pet spa, so there’s a little something for everyone! The community also offers valet trash and recycling as well as bike and kayak storage.
Hawthorne Palmetto apartment homes feature premium interiors, with open-concept floorplans, granite countertops throughout, and designer tile backsplashes in the kitchens. Select apartments also offer kitchen islands, vaulted ceilings, rain shower heads, and walk-in showers with glass doors.

At Evolve, we want your home to feel like your own private oasis—a reflection of who you are. We’re all about evolving the way you live, so that you can love where you live. With summer winding down, it’s a great time to assess your space and transform what you’ve got into something fresh. Spice up your space this season with our favorite fall décor!
Keep It Natural
Just because autumn is right around the corner doesn’t mean you need to stick to shades of falling leaves! We love the idea of ditching the traditional and keeping it earthy instead. If you’re over the bright orange, try warm, rich tones like deep greens, blues, and browns for great alternatives to the typical color palette.
Focus instead on natural, textural fabrics. Chunky, knitted blankets are the perfect way to add some depth and coziness to your furniture. Switching out your throw pillows with a textured option (maybe velvet or faux fur?!) is a simple yet effective way to adjust your space for the season. We’re loving this fall vibe above from Real Simple.
Create a Cozy Sanctuary
As the weather (eventually) cools off, it provides the perfect opportunity for curling up with a warm bev and a good fall read. For the fall, we’re really into the idea of adding baskets. The natural textures go great with the fall theme, and they also add depth to an otherwise flat surface. Keep it exclusively baskets, or try using a few different sizes interspersed between prints. Pro tip: lay everything out on the floor first before attempting to hang it all up!
Warm It Up with Candles
There’s no such thing as spicing up your space for fall without incorporating the sense of smell! Candles are, of course, a beautiful way of cozying up your home for the season. Bringing in a lantern or two that mesh well with the vibe of your space offers another great addition.

Make sure to start and finish your workout with several minutes of stretching. Stretching your muscles and lubricating your joints before you hit the gym can help prevent tears and strains while you work out. Evolve communities like 1701 North are equipped with treadmills so that even on the coldest, rainiest days, you can still get your heart rate up! Can you believe we’re in the final month of the decade?! With 2019 coming to a close, there’s no better way to ring in the new year than with a party for all of your close friends. We’re all about evolving the way you live at Evolve communities, and now is the perfect time to come together and celebrate that evolution! Check out these top 5 New Year’s Eve party decoration ideas for the celebration of the decade!
Don’t be afraid to get a little crazy with the garland when you’re considering your NYE party decorations. The more glitter and gold on New Year’s Eve, the better! We love this mixture of textures and styles from OhSoFancyParty on Etsy. Garlands like tassels, stars, and fringe are all fun options to play around with!
How do you plan on evolving into the new year? One of our favorite things about New Year’s Eve is taking the time to set intentions for the year ahead! This chalkboard + New Year Resolutions lettering combo create the perfect focal point for your party. This decoration idea is such a great way for your guests to get interactive and intentional at your New Year’s Eve party!
We love this super simple DIY project from Studio DIY. Grab a big bag of balloons from your local party store, gold foil confetti (so your balloons don’t pop), Mod Podge or decoupage glue, and a paint brush or foam brush. If you’re using helium to fill your balloons, be sure not to overdo it on the confetti so they still float.
Use a thin, even layer of glue around the bottom of your balloon and start dipping or sprinkling on your confetti. Make sure you have something underneath your balloons to catch the extra confetti so that you can still use it!
Ringing in the new year just isn’t the same without a champagne (or sparkling grape juice) toast! We love the idea of turning a bar cart or counterspace into a bubbly bar. offered lots of delicious snacks and hot apple cider during finals week for their residents. Because they’re a student property many of their residents will be away until January, but that didn’t stop them from getting festive!
Evolve at Stones Bay
has a hot cocoa bar and gift wrapping station set up for their residents. Head to the clubhouse to make wrapping gifts a little more fun this year with a mug of hot chocolate to keep you cozy!
Stones Bay is also doing a toy drive for Toys for Tots this year. We’d love it if you could bring any toys you’d like to donate down to the clubhouse.
811 East Downtown
is baking fresh cookies for the office daily and is also offering free Christmas present wrapping!
Mountain View
also has a gift wrapping station set up for their residents, complete with festive wrapping paper, tissue paper, bows, tape, and more!
They had milk and cookies with Santa earlier this month as well, and Santa read the Night Before Christmas to everyone who joined!
