Evolve Waterford Apartments
Belville, NC
As of this month, we’ve officially completed construction at Evolve Waterford Apartments! These stunning one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes are located right outside of Leland, NC and just a short drive from Wilmington. This means residents will have all the benefits of city living, while also getting to enjoy the peaceful environment of their home.
The apartment homes themselves offer gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances, undermount sinks, granite countertops, and ceramic tile backsplashes. Evolve Waterford’s open and airy kitchens are the perfect space for gathering with friends.
At Evolve, our mission is to #evolvethewayyoulive, so we aim to have the highest quality amenities you can find at an apartment community. Here at Evolve, we pride ourselves on being a company that builds communities for people who live outside the box. We know your home is where it all happens, so we want it to feel unique—just like you—and our hope is that we can bring that same vibe into everything we do!
We started 2024 with the absolute honor of being recognized as a Business of Distinction in Wilmington, NC! Wrightsville Beach Magazine featured Evolve Companies in their amazing Green Spaces article, highlighting the plants we have at the center of our design—both in our Wilmington headquarters and at our communities.
Greenery in our workspaces at Evolve
The power of plants can lift the mood in any space—so what better place for plants that double as art than in a workspace? And the plants don’t even need to be real to elevate the environment! Amanda Lisk with Wrightsville Beach Magazine wrote, “Whether real or faux, adding plants to a room elevates the aesthetic, the mood, and the oxygen level when live. Plants just make everything better,” and we totally agree.
In our Wilmington headquarters, we’ve added lush (sometimes faux) plants wherever possible—from table centerpieces to stunning artwork framed on the walls.
Thanks to our friends at The Coastal Succulent, Evolve’s Wilmington headquarters has come to life with plants that set us apart—literally with our 8-foot gorilla topiary in the courtyard. Shawna Raines, our Development/Marketing Coordinator shared with the magazine that people who see the gorilla from the street even stop to take photos with it.

Keeping things fresh at Evolve communities
Part of our commitment to evolve the way you live is by keeping things fresh in our communities! One of our newer projects, Oceans RV Resort, is a different take on your typical RV park. This isn’t your basic spot to camp for the night!
As unique as Oceans RV Resort is, we wanted to bring the aesthetic to life with plants. Framed plant artwork and centerpieces dispersed throughout the resort are sure to catch your eye!

We can hardly believe the end of 2023 is right around the corner, but ya know what they say—time flies when you’re havin’ fun! At Evolve Companies, our mission is to keep growing so that we can help you do the same. 2023 was BIG, and we can’t wait for what’s to come next year.

Evolve at North Shore

When the weather gets warmer, you won’t want to miss out on enjoying the resort-style saltwater swimming pool with its picnic and grilling pavilion. You’ll even find a golf simulator and electric car charging stations.

Here at Evolve, we’re all about bringing your space to life so that it feels like a home. If you love color as much as we do, get ready for Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2023. Viva Magenta is bringing fresh new meaning to the words bright and bold this year. According to Pantone, this rich shade of red has undertones of pink found in nature—think ripe berries and deep pink flowers. Feeling inspired to bring Pantone’s Color of the Year into your home this year? Check out these ideas for decorating your home on trend in 2023.

It’s hard to believe 2022 is on its way out and we’re headed into a fresh new year! At Evolve Companies, we’re firm believers in constant growth and evolution so that we can help you evolve the way you live. With 40+ communities in various stages of development, construction, and lease-up as we close on quarter four this year, we’re excited to announce we have even more magic up our sleeves coming in 2023.
Another cherry on top of 2022 was our recognition by the National Multifamily Housing Council as a Top 25 Largest Builder in the US.

Hawthorne Palmetto
Simpsonville, SC
Hawthorne Palmetto’s one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes are stunning, bright, and modern. Nestled in Simpsonville, SC, the community is in an ideal location within walking distance of great shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

We love sweet summertime here at Evolve, so we want to spend as much time outdoors as possible. From our favorite outdoor amenities to awesome local events, we hope you can fully evolve the way you live this summer. What’s going on in Cullowhee, NC this summer?
We don’t know about you, but we love Western North Carolina—especially in the summer! Home to 808 West, Cullowhee, NC offers so many great outdoor events when the weather is warm and you want an excuse to get out of the house!
Trivia Night at Lazy Hiker Brewing is every Wednesday evening at 6:30. Grab a group of friends and enjoy fresh air, good music, and great beer!
If you want to enjoy even more great music outdoors, check out Concerts on the Creek every Friday at 7pm, all summer through Labor Day weekend. Bring your camping chairs and get ready for a fun night with good friends.
For fresh produce and tons of other local goodies, head to the Farmers Market in Bridge Park every Saturday from 9am-12pm.
You won’t want to miss hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway this time of year either. The views are stunning, and the weather is perfect! With so many different trails, finding one that fits your needs for length and difficulty level is a breeze.

How can you get outside in Asheville this season?
Asheville, NC, where our very own Mountain View Apartments is located, is so beautiful and full of life all year long, but this mountain town really thrives in the summer!
LEAF Down by the River is a world cultural arts festival held at Asheville’s new outdoor venue, The Outpost. Check it out on Saturday, August 20th from 11am-8pm for tons of delicious food, drinks, hand-made crafts, healing arts, and so much more. This donation-based festival is the perfect way to spend a Saturday for people of all ages.
Every third Friday of the month you’ll find great live music outdoors at Downtown After Five. Next up is Joslyn & The Sweet Compression and Sister Ivy on August 19th from 5-9pm. Grab your friends and enjoy your favorite local beers and delicious food from Asheville’s top food trucks!
What’s been going on at Evolve communities this summer?
Evolve Surf City in Hampstead, NC welcomed summer with a resident pool party in June! You can’t go wrong with delicious pizza, sunshine, swimming, and great friends!
1701 North also added a brand-new Bark Park to their outdoor amenities. With fresh turf and fun agility equipment, this is the perfect spot for your fur baby this summer! There’s nothing like a worn-out and happy pup at the end of the day!
